Hello earth and all that inhabits it! Here I will review the Stock Tommy 20. I got this on clearance for $13.00 USD at Toys R Us. As usual, let us start up with the pictures:
Yup, there it is:
Here's one of the darts that it fires. Strangely, this is under the Airzone name but it uses Buzz Bee darts. Hmmm...:
And, a random picture of it in use :) :
So, without further ado, let's start out with the ranges of the Tommy 20. It gets around 35 feet flat, which is fairly decent for a stock flywheel blaster running off of 4.5 volts (Three AA batteries). For those of you who don't know, this is a semi-auto blaster. So I always seem to think of it as a Barricade with a higher dart capacity, which is great due to the fact I love Barricades. Now, lets talk about Blaster Comfort. For the most part, it's a comfortable blaster. The main thing I'm having trouble with is the fact that on the stock of the Blaster there's these weird circular bumps on it. Also, the trigger pull is nice so it's easy to get a nice firing rate out of it. So, I guess with no more to say, let's move on to the rankings.
Looks: 6
Comfort: 8.5
Range: 8
Capacity: 8.5
Average: 7.75
All in all, this is a nice blaster. The few flaws bring down the rating, but still a great blaster. Plus, if I throw some trustfires into it, who knows how it could perform...
